Motti Lerer

ABOUT
Motti Lerer has been working in jewelry design and production for 25 years with a wide range of materials from precious metals and diamonds, to bronze and wood. He has created jewelry through CAD software and 3D printing for clients such as Oscar Dela Renta, St. John Knits, Terri Burch, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Coach. His designs have been sold in Bloomingdales, Nordstroms, Saks 5th Avenue and high-end boutiques worldwide.
As a sculptor, Motti Lerer finds inspiration in the human body as a stage for political and interpersonal engagement. He works in ceramics, metal, and plastics--materials which he also uses to make beautiful functional objects.
Motti Lerer studied engineering in Israel at Ort College, and art and jewelry design at the Bezalel Art Academy of Jerusalem. He now lives in Brooklyn, New York.
